Your care table
| Topic | What to do | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Light | Choose bright filtered daylight. | The table must work as a permanent growing position. |
| Warmth | Keep evenly warm and free from draughts. | The small tropical rootball cools quickly. |
| Rootball | Let the upper soil dry slightly, then water. | Do not merely wet the surface with a small sip. |
| Drainage | Empty cover pots after drainage. | Do not permanently enclose the roots. |
| Soil | Keep loose and free-draining. | Combine moisture with air pores. |
| Nutrients | Feed during growth according to the label. | Pre-fertilised soil counts too. |
| Flower care | Carefully cut old stems at the base. | Retain narrow bracts and new buds. |
| Handling | Do not eat and avoid sap contact. | Plant parts can cause irritation. |
Check the compost and pot weight. The care table explains how far the compost may dry.
Water only when needed. The water should reach the root ball without spilling over the rim.
Remove surplus water from the saucer or cachepot. Then return the plant to a suitable position.
The pink surface stays deliberately narrow
Lilli makes the familiar flamingo-flower shape more delicate. Its small pink bracts are narrow, sometimes curved like ribbons, and sit among pointed green foliage. The breeder describes exactly this narrow shape. These are not the huge red heart-shaped surfaces seen in other anthuriums. The short spadix carries the actual small flowers. An arrangement on a bright table can accommodate the fine shapes without making the crown disappear among bulky objects. The number of pink bracts varies in living plants.
A manageable start in a 12-cm pot
The offered size reference is a pot diameter of 12 centimetres and approximately 25 to 30 centimetres total height. The small plant may initially remain in its suitable root space. A decorative cover pot should stand securely and allow removal for watering. On a breakfast table, keep a distance from hot containers and frequently moved objects. The scene shows an example furnishing arrangement; the young crown and its proportions follow the original. The offer’s total height is neither a fixed later growth limit nor a promise of a particular number of pink ribbons.
A table position also needs plant light
For the permanent position we choose filtered daylight and pleasantly even warmth. Strong direct midday sun is screened out. A spot that seems bright at breakfast may become unsuitable later in the day; look at sun patches and the side actually receiving light. Avoid cold draughts when airing the room in winter. Lilli is not moved somewhere new every day simply because a bract ages. Look instead for new leaves and buds. The small pot should remain accessible so care is not hindered by attractive but impractical decoration.
Check the rootball beneath the fine bracts
Let the upper soil dry slightly and then water evenly. Use soft, room-temperature water where possible. Empty any cover pot or saucer after drainage. The compact crown in particular can give the impression that a tiny sip is always enough. What matters, however, is whether the rootball is supplied. Light, warmth and growth alter its needs. In cooler periods with little light, the next watering may be needed later. Limp foliage in a still-wet pot is assessed alongside drainage and the base before further water is added.
Care for the small crown with calm movements
A loose, free-draining mix for indoor aroids suits the root space’s need for air. When repotting is necessary, give a little more space and keep the base at the same level. During active growth, dose fertiliser according to its label and account for existing fertiliser. Remove fully faded stems cleanly at the base without pulling neighbouring buds along. Do not wipe the narrow bracts vigorously or bend them apart. Retain healthy foliage. A single pause in flowering needs neither radical pruning nor extra heavy feeding; look at light and development together first.
Get to know small shapes close up
In the plant book, a close-up of the pink bracts alongside the whole crown is worthwhile. The distinctive form can then still be understood after flowering ends. Carefully remove dust from firm green foliage with a soft damp cloth, supporting the leaf as you do so. Check undersides and stem bases for unusual changes. Anthurium parts are not edible and can irritate. Place safely away from children or pets and avoid sap contact when cutting. Lilli remains a lovely small flowering plant whose care follows its condition rather than a rigid weekly schedule.
One plant, several views

Good to know
Are the pink ribbons ordinary petals?
They are narrow bracts; the actual flowers sit on the small spadix.
Does Lilli have huge red hearts?
The associated selection shows small narrow pink bracts.
Can it stay on a table permanently?
Yes, provided it receives sufficient filtered daylight and suitable warmth.
Must I repot immediately?
Not solely because of purchase. Root development and substrate condition decide.
How many bracts will I receive?
The number depends on developmental stage and is not guaranteed from the scene.
