Nature to observe
Carnivorous plants show how diverse plants can be. Venus flytrap closes its trapping leaves. Sundew holds small insects with sticky droplets. Tropical pitcher plants and trumpet pitcher plants use other trap forms. Simply looking closely offers plenty to discover.
Get to know five species
The linked starter set brings together Venus flytrap, sundew, butterwort, tropical pitcher plant and trumpet pitcher plant. Check the shop for the exact combination and delivery contents. A shared set does not mean that all species should receive the same care in the same position.
Observe rather than trigger traps
Enjoy their unusual forms without provoking the traps for fun. A suitable position, low-mineral water and substrate appropriate to the species are essential. Our care article mainly explains the differences between tropical pitcher plants and species with a cool winter dormancy.
